I know that I haven't posted in forever, but there is no time like the present to start again.  It is important for me that people know where I am coming from, and the revelation that made me change the way that I view food. You see, food is for nourishment and nourishment alone. The enemy uses our weaknesses to ease his way into our lives. Think about it. Obesity is a big issue for Christians and that is simply because we cant say no. Just like Eve couldn't say no and look what that got her. BUT, here is the great news, you can break the cycle, you can stop the enemy and you can have FREEDOM from the cycle of weight loss and gain. Think of it like this....the word says that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, right? So, would you go to church if the floors were strewn with trash or the bathrooms hadn't been cleaned in months? Of course you wouldn't, yet you are asking Him to dwell in you when your are a mess. Now, with all that being said....lets get started. Here are a few tips.

#1.....Drink WATER! I know that is easier said than done, but it is very necessary. Your body needs water. If you are a soda or sweet tea drinker, just slowly take them out of your daily diet. Don't do it right away unless you are prepared for the headaches.

#2.....Chill on the pasta, bread and rice. Your body cant get enough of these things, even though you are full your body will tell you otherwise.

#3.....Nix the sweets. Switch out that Snickers or Twix for a KIND or LARABAR. Just because you want to be healthy doesn't mean you have to eat cardboard. The thing that people tend to forget is that God made some pretty tasty food. Look into it, you may just be amazed.

#4....MOVE AROUND!!!!! Don't be sedentary, you aren't a rock. Use those legs and get up and move. Did you know that standing for 4 hours a day for an entire year is the equivelent of running a marathon.

For those of you that are doing the CLC RESET WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE, we are here to help you make that change in your life.
